Production of a lateral flow test requires a support material on which all the components of the rapid test can be assembled. Laminates are such readyto-use sub-assemblies of adhesive and plastic on which all the components are laminated. These are convenient to handle and can be custom designed as per the design of cassette or dipstick design and later cutting into strips to make the complete test. These backing laminates don’t interfere with the performance of the immunoassays.

Backing Laminates are provided with adhesive liner on it, to allow the user to stick the other components. Slits are custom positioned based on the customer’s requirement. Backing laminates are available in roll and strip form.
